Connecting Jira Cloud

Authorize Jira Cloud, select client-approved projects, and bring read-only issue, status-history and worklog summaries into the relevant claim.

Updated July 22, 2026

The Jira connector uses Atlassian OAuth with read-only scopes. A client chooses the Jira Cloud site and projects that can contribute evidence to the claim.

Connect approved projects

  1. Open the client portal and choose Jira.
  2. Authorize the relevant Jira Cloud site.
  3. Select the client-approved projects and map them to the claim.
  4. Choose the period and run the first sync.

What enters SREDlog

SREDlog retrieves issue keys, summaries, types, statuses, assignees, and worklog details within the selected window. It cannot edit issues, worklogs, or Jira configuration.

Disconnect or troubleshoot

Revoke the Atlassian authorization to stop future syncs. If a project is missing, confirm the site, project permission, and selected period before refreshing.

See the Jira setup steps and data boundary.
