The GitHub connector helps you reference development history without manually exporting every commit. A firm administrator must complete the initial connection.
Connect a repository
- Open Settings, then Integrations.
- Choose GitHub and follow the installation flow.
- Grant access only to the repositories needed for your claims.
- Return to SREDlog and associate imported activity with the appropriate client and project.
What the connection can access
SREDlog retrieves commit messages, timestamps, authorship, pull-request activity, and issue activity from repositories approved in the GitHub App installation. It does not store source-code contents and cannot push, open pull requests, or change repository settings.
Disconnect or troubleshoot
Repository access is controlled by the GitHub App installation. If a repository is missing, ask the installation owner to update its repository access in GitHub, then reconnect or refresh in SREDlog. Removing the installation stops future syncs without erasing evidence that was already added to and reviewed in a claim.
